The building program consists of a 30 patient station hemodialysis unit with related support spaces for water treatment, storage, and other technical support functions. There are also spaces for training patients to do peritoneal dialysis at home, patient waiting, and staff offices. The existing one story mercastile building was razed, and a new freestanding one story building was constructed.
